This course is designed for grandparents or chosen supporters who have recently lost a grandchild or are about to.
Covering loss from miscarriage or pregnancy loss, TFMR, stillbirth, SIDS/SUDI, perinatal loss from a disorder or illness, accident and other baby loss under 12 months old..
By the end of this course, you will:
- Understand the immediate and early support available for grieving families
- Navigate your own grief and emotional responses as a grandparent
- Recognize the dual aspects of grandparent grief and how it impacts family dynamics
- Learn how to help your child commemorate their baby and support them in the early weeks and months
