The stunning colour of this rebozo is akin to the vibrance of a bougainvillea, its namesake. Fun fact:  the stunningly beautiful Bougainvillea flower decorates streets and homes all around Mexico and is the perfect colour to celebrate the blooming between a mama and her baby.

 

This rebozo may have a few minor flaws and has been reduced in price accordingly and is sold as is. See closer photos.

 

The Rebozo is a woven lightweight shawl used by Mesoamerican peoples for many purposes including:

 

  • carrying your baby or
  • wrap your womb to support your pregnancy, postpartum or menstruation

    • Tie the fringes together to avoid tangling (Or use for example elastic hair band or a washing bag to protect them)
